Radio spectrum is the most valuable resource in communications because of its unique irreducibility. The ITU and other countries have strict standards for the division of radio spectrum. 700 MHz band has a better penetration performance,wider coverage area and suitable for a wide range of network coverage. The 700 MHZ band can provide users with high-quality,high performance and low cost of mobile broadband business, which is more conducive to the development of LTE. This article analyzes the advantages on using 700 MHz frequency(wide coverage and less penetration loss) as well as the 700 MHZ band networking challenges we will facing in the future. On this basis, The Bureau of Radio and Television should in-depth cooperation with telecommunication companies, unified coordination, innovative business model, accelerate 700 MHZ of spectrum resources recycling, which can create greater value.
