摘要
英语词汇不仅具有语言系统赋予的语言意义,也有语境下的语用意义。在跨文化商务交际中,商务英语词汇的语用意义也是通过特定的商务语境来确定的,并随着具体商务语境的变化而变化。交际者只有依据一定的商务语境才能正确理解商务英语词汇的语用意义,成功完成商务交际活动。在认知语境理论基础上,对商务英语词汇语用意义进行探讨研究,阐述了有关认知语境和商务英语语境的含义,并进一步研究了商务英语词汇语用意义的定义、特点及分类。
English vocabulary not only has the linguistic meaning given by the linguistic system,but also the pragmatic meaning in the context.In the cross-cultural business communications,the pragmatic meaning of business English vocabulary is also determined by the specific business context,and changes with it.Only through a certain business context can the participants correctly understand the pragmatic meaning of business English vocabulary and successfully complete business communication activities.On the basis of cognitive context theory,the author intends to discuss the pragmatic meaning of business English vocabulary,expounding the meaning of cognitive context and business English context,and further studying the definition,characteristics and classifications of pragmatic meaning of business English vocabulary.
