《明文海》:以史为鉴,叙说一代政治利弊

Mingwenhai:Political Commentaries to Ming Dynasty

黄宗羲辑选《明文海》,目的是为了存一代文献及一代之史,以史为鉴,故其选文原则之一即是以纪叙明三百年重大政治为主,而不甚看重作者名望。通过《明文海》所选有关治河、漕运、整治三边及明代官场政治生态一类的文章,可以清晰地认识明代朝廷理政决策过程及其政治得失。《明文海》对于《明史》记载中的疏阔,也起到了很好的补充或正谬作用,是研究明代政治和历史所不可或缺的第一手资料。

To conserve the literature of Ming Dynasty,Huang Zongxi compiled Mingwenhai（A Collection of Articles in the Ming Dynasty）.Not particular about the writers＇ reputation,he focused more on whether writings narrated important political affairs of Ming Dynasty.By analyzing selections about river regulation,water transportation,regulation border trouble,officialdom of Ming Dynasty,etc,we can see they recorded how feudal emperors handled their daily affairs and what influence their decisions.At the same time,these articles could supply and rectify Mingshi.Therefore,they were essential materials to study the politics and history of Ming Dynasty.
