全面从严治党视野下的理想信念教育

Education on the Ideals and Convictions under the View of Running the Party with Strict Discipline

对党的治理,也是对党的建设,其核心目的是要解决"缺钙"问题,增强党的理想信念。习近平提出要补足共产党人精神上的"钙",是有很强的现实针对性的。理想信念是党的灵魂、党的根基。如果理想信念失落而不加以纠正的话,势必会导致无可挽回的颠覆性错误。重要的是针对理想信念失落的深刻原因,从根本理论上武装和提高全党,特别是党的各级领导干部。党的十八大以来,在以习近平同志为核心的党中央坚强领导下,在全面从严治党的统一部署下,通过治标与治本相统一,思想教育与实际行动相结合,使全党的"补钙"工作、理想信念复位方面取得了初步的但又是明显的效果,为今后进一步推进理想信念积累了丰富的经验。

Enhancing the Party members' ideals and convictions has been a major objective of supervising the Party's conduct and Party building works. Xi Jinping's proposition on strengthening Party members ' belief has distinct pertinence and practical significance. Ideals and convictions are the marrow and backbones of the Party. Communists' weak ideals or convictions,if not being corrected,will finally lead to fatal mistakes. We should have a proper understanding about the underlying causes of weak ideals and convictions. Party members,especially officials at all levels,should guide their actions in conformity with the Party's theories. Since the 18th National Congress,under the central collective leadership with Xi Jinping at the core and the overall planning of running the Party with strict discipline,the Party has made a first but important step in strengthening Party members' ideals and convictions with ideological education and practice in addressing symptoms and root problems. All of these have laid important foundation for strengthening the ideals and convictions of Party members.
