The Oral History of the Lion Dance by the Zhu Family in Central Hunan

对湘中"朱家舞狮"的文化变迁进行口述史研究。研究得出:朱家舞狮历时约90年,大致可以分成创办、成型、中断、恢复、衰微等时期。各个时期的舞狮活动各具特色,形成农村独特的文化活动。然而,随着农村传统社会的逐渐瓦解,"朱家舞狮"的衰微将无法避免。

This paper studies the historical changes in the Lion Dance by the Zhu Family in central Hunan Province based on its oral history. The study reveals details about its founding,maturity,suspension,recovery,and decline in the past 90 years. Different activities have been involved in different historical stages of the Lion Dance,making it a unique culture in the rural Hunan.However,traditional rural society has declined,and the Lion Dance by the Zhu Family can hardly escape the same fate.
