The theory on critique of modernity is an important part of world capitalism critical theory at present. Facing with real life issues of capitalist society, British Neo-Marxists such as Raymond Williams, Anthony Giddens and David Harvey, have made analysis and criticism of the modern society by taking combination of time and space as logical starting point, adhering to the thinking path of ＂from bottom to top＂, using the theoretical orientation of all-embracing. And they construct an unique critical theory of modernity.
