摘要
马礼逊学校是马礼逊教育协会为了纪念马礼逊在中国做出的杰出贡献在中国领土上建造的第一所为华人开办教会学校。其在课程设置,教学方法和教材的使用都成为以后学校英语教育活动的范式。但其也有消极性和局限性,对此我们应当取其精华去其糟粕。
The Morrison School is the first church school for the Chinese in Chinese territory in order to commemorate the out- standing contribution of Morrison to China. Its model in the curriculum, teaching methods and teaching materials have become the par- adigm of school English education activities. But it also has negativity and limitations, which we should get rid of.
