日本的中国伊斯兰研究学术史——以问题意识和研究对象的界定为中心

A Few Thoughts about the “History of Japanese Study on Chinese Islam”

白寿彝、马通先生曾提出国外在中国伊斯兰教研究方面存在的问题,虽然已经过去30多年,遗憾的是老先生们所提出的问题仍没解决。国外的中国伊斯兰研究分为"西方"和"日本"两大部分。本报告根据学者的先前研究以及提出的问题,以近几年来搜集及分析的研究经验作为基础,对"日本的中国伊斯兰研究"尝试提出几点问题意识。日本对中国伊斯兰的研究,经历了一个非常坎坷曲折的历史过程,其兴衰、发展与日本的近现代发展史密切相伴。对这些问题的了解,有助于我们从一个较深的层面去认识日本的政治社会以及近现代日本人的宗教心理和思想精神面貌。

Mr. Bai Shouyi and Mr. Ma Tong have put forward some existing problems in researches on Chinese Islam in foreign countries. Though over thirty years have passed, these problems are still unsolved. Foreign studies on Chinese Islam consists of two schools,one is ＂Western School＂ and the other is ＂Japanese School＂. On the basis of previous researches,the raised questions and research experiences in recent years, a few thoughts about Japanese studies on Islam in China are proposed in this article. Japanese study on Chinese Islam went through a very rough history, and its rise and decline and development are closely related to the history of modem Japanese development. After understanding these issues, one could see the Japanese political society from a more profound perspective, and get some knowledge of the religions psychology and thinking pattern of the modem Japanese people.
