“Hui Literature”: Constructing Knowledge and Reflecting Culture

"回族文学"概念的产生是为《回族文学史》的编写工作服务的,是文学史编写过程中的附带品。在概念争论的过程中涉及到是以族属还是题材作为标准的分歧,这种分歧背后蕴含着不同的文学观念、民族记忆、文化认同、国家权力等现代知识,通过对"回族文学"的知识考古,回到概念的发生语境去分析概念在文化反思主导下被建构的过程,重新认识"回族文学"作为族属概念的合理性是如何形成的。

The appearance of ＂Hui Literature＂ as a new term was originally to offer convenience for compiling History of Hui Litera- ture. Therefore it is a byproduct in compiling History of Hui Literature. In the discussion of the concept, there were divergences based on ethnic groups or themes, behind which underlined those modern knowledge such as literary concepts, national memory, cultural identity and national narrative. Through the archaeology of knowledge of ＂Hui Literature＂, tracing back to the context in which the concept was formulated, this paper reacquaints how the reasonability of ＂ Hui Literature＂ formed as a concept of ethnic group along with an analysis of the process of construction of the concept dominated by cultural reflection.
