华人社群与僧团联盟的佛教传播模式——以荷兰为例

Buddhist Missionary Mode of the Alliance Between Chinese Diaspora and Monasteries:A Case Study of Netherlands

跨国移民将原居国宗教文化带入移居地,带往世界各地。被视为中国传统宗教的汉传佛教亦随着华人向外迁移而流播海外。当前全球化时代,汉传佛教的传播方式表现出新的特征。传统的会馆宗教模式犹存,新兴传播模式以华人移民社群与国际化僧团联盟为标志,移民社群被纳入佛教全球化战略。从中国文化入手,通过扎根当地,实现佛教全球化目标,即为组织化——中国化——本土化三面向的全球化过程,这也意味着汉传佛教试图摆脱移民族群宗教标签转向全球性宗教。

As transnational immigrants bring with them the traditional religions of home countries while crossing national borders, transnational Chinese contributes greatly to the cross-border of Chinese Buddhism which has been considered as a traditional Chinese religion. However the cross-border spread of Chinese Buddhism has taken on a new look in the current globalization era. The traditional mode of Huiguan（immigrant community） religion still prevails, while a new mode emerges, with an alliance being formed between Chinese communities and internationalized monasteries. The alliance aims at the globalization of Buddhism, by stressing the Chinese culture in Buddhism and adapting itself to the local need. This process of globalization, organized alliance-sinocization-localization helps Chinese Buddhism transform from an immigrant religion to a globalized religion.
