“中学生英才”的“公能”素质培养

The Development of Intellectual and Moral Abilities in the "Elite Program" for Secondary School Students

"英才计划"是中国科学技术协会和教育部联合于2013年启动的中学生科技创新后备人才培养计划试点工作。南开大学作为全国20所试点高校之一,在"英才计划"学员培养中以"公能"素质培养为主线,注重学员德智体美劳的协调发展。具体来说,学校在人本层面注重学员的全面发展,使其人格丰富健全;在专业层面,培养学员具备优良的职业道德和专业素养、有深厚的知识和突出的创新及实践能力;在发展层面,使学员"公能"兼备,具有爱国爱群之公德、服务社会之能力。

Jointly launched in 2013 by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education, the ＂Elite Program＂ is a pilot program for secondary school students to develop a talent pool for scientific innovation. As one of the 20 Chinese pilot universities for the program, Nankai University （NKU）, in executing the program, has been attaching great significance to the balanced development of moral, intellectual, physical, esthetic, and practical abilities, echoing the ＂dedication to public interests＂ and ＂acquisition of all- round capability＂ in NKU＇s motto. To be specific, in terms of human character, NKU highlights the all-around development of students which leads to their sound personality; profession-wise, NKU tries to equip the students with great working ethics, professional competence, theoretic and practical knowledge, and innovation capacity; with regards to personal development, NKU seeks to make the students virtuous enough to love their country and communities, and able enough to serve the society.
