语言类型学视野下的对比研究

Reflections on Contrastive Studies from the Perspective of Linguistic Typology

本文简要论证了对比语言学与语言类型学之间的关系,提出了两种不同类型的语言类型学视野下的语言对比研究,即基于语言类型学理论假设的对比研究和以普世语法为目标的对比研究,阐述了各自的特点,并以研究实例来说明如何具体开展这两类研究。

After a brief examination of the relationship between Contrastive Linguistics and Linguistic Typology,this paper delineates two types of contrastive studies from the perspective of Linguistic Typology,namely,contrastive studies based on theoretical hypotheses made in Linguistic Typology and Universal Grammar-oriented contrastive studies.The characteristics of these two types of studies are specified and their implementations are illustrated with concrete examples.
