摘要
二十世纪三十至四十年代新桂系对广西民团的经营,是一个重要的历史现象。从其主要的客观效果来看,对当时中国抵御日本侵略、争取民族解放有重要贡献,对广西的近现代化文明进程是有促进作用的,但也不可否认其阻碍革命发展的一面。
New Gui Clique＇s governance on Guangxi local militia during 1930s - 1940s was an important historical phenomenon, which, as objectively viewed, largely contributed to China＇s resistance against Japan＇s invasion and China＇s own liberation. It boosted the civilization and modernization of Guangxi province. However, it also suppressed the development of revolution in a certain degree.
