Thoughts on Cultivating Talents of Students of Japanese Majors with Centering on the Status of the Course A Brief Introduction to Japan

《日本概况》课不仅担负着传授日本地理、历史、政治、经济、文化、社会、科技、教育、宗教、法律、文学艺术及风俗习惯等专业知识的任务,还具有提升学生人文素养、激发学生创新意识、开阔学生国际化视野的功能,因此,摆正其在日语专业课程体系中的位置非常重要。

The contents of the course A Brief Introduction to Japan involve Japan＇s geography,history,politics,economics,culture,society,science and technology,education,literature and arts,and custom and tradition. They would lay a solid ground for improving students ＇humanistic qualities,stimulating innovation awareness and widening an international viewpoint as well as learning the language. As a result,it is of importance to realize that the course should hold a proper position in the syllabus. This article explores on the topic of cultivating talents of the specialty of Japanese language and culture,discusses the importance of the course A Brief Introduction to Japan. It also defines the position the course should enjoy in the syllabus by combing out the relation between itself and other courses.
