农民工是我国改革开放进程中成长起来的新型劳动力群体,在社会转型背景下,农民工群体性事件频频爆发并激化升级,呈现出以经济利益诉求为主、事件成因复杂化、表达方式剧烈化、网络舆情影响深入等特点,成为当前社会转型的重大隐患。应建立科学、敏锐的预警机制、迅速控制事件核心人员、促进协商对话、建立多方协调机制、完善信访制度建设,妥善处理各个环节,维护社会的和谐与稳定。

Rural migrant workers are a new-type group of labor force growing up in the course of China＇s opening up and reform.Under the background of the social transformation, rural migrant workers-involved mass disturbances frequently break out and become further aggravated, characterized by economic interest-orientation, complicated causes, radical expresasions, wide-range impacing online public opinions, becoming a grave potential risk in today＇s social transformation. Therfore, efforts need to be made to develop scientific and acute early warning mechanism, prompdy control the core members in the disturbance, promote negotiations and dialogues, establish a multilateral coordination mechanism, improve complaint reporting ssystem construction, and properly handle each section so as to maintain social harmony and stability.
