On the History of Jiang Gui, Dingxi Marquis, in the Ming Dynasty

蒋贵是明朝有名的将领,关于他的身世众说纷纭。通过对现藏于徐州圣旨博物馆的明洪武二十五年丝织龙边诰命圣旨的释读,结合相关史料,还原该圣旨涉及的主人公蒋可及其后人蒋贵的其人、其事。同时综合分析各方史料中关于蒋贵的记载,对史料中的歧异之处作出辨析和考订,从而揭秘明朝定西侯蒋贵的身世及蒋氏一族的发展脉络。

There are various opinions about the life history of Jiang Gui, a famous general in the Ming Dynasty. This article reveals the stories of Jiang Ke and his descendant Jiang Gui by interpreting some relative historical materials and the silk imperial edict issued in the 25 thyear of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty and displayed in Xuzhou Imperial Edict Museum. It also exposes Jiang Gui＇s life experiences and the development of the Jiang＇s family by analyzing, examining and checking various local historical materials about them.
