Opportunities and Challenges for Traditional Ethnic Village Sports Cultures in Southwest China Seen from the Perspective of Social Change

在社会变迁视域下,西南少数民族村寨传统体育文化面临发展问题和机遇,正确把握民族村寨传统体育文化建设与传承的一般性规律,寻找建设传承村寨传统体育文化的有效路径及方法,具有理论意义和现实意义。通过与时俱进的视角审视民族村寨社会变迁与民族传统体育文化建设发展的关系,资料收集整理及研究,培养村民的民族文化主体意识,能更好地促进西南少数民族村寨传统经济社会的发展。

Seen from the perspective of social change,opportunities of development for traditional ethnic village sports cultures in Southwest China are achievable. Thus,understanding the general laws that govern the construction and inheritance of ethnic village sports culture,and defining the effective approach to preserving and developing these ethnic traditions have become a significant theoretical and practical issue of study. Therefore,an updated view point should be adopted to look at the relationship between social change and development of traditional ethnic sports cultures. Emphasis should be given to data collecting and studying,villagers' awareness of their unique cultures should be raised. These efforts will contribute to the social-economic development of the ethnic villages in Southwest China.
