Cultural Analysis of Traditional Image Concept Image Thinking

意象思维是中医学极具特色的思维方式之一,其有深厚的传统文化渊源,早在《周易·系辞上》就有"圣人立象以尽意"之说。从传统文化的视域出发,首先对意象思维中意、象、意象等概念进行释义,并对言、意、象三者关系进行疏析。在此基础上明确意象思维的内涵,即意象思维是思维主体将物象或拟象(符号、概念、模型等)作为思维工具,运用直觉、比喻、象征、联想、类推、顿悟等方法,来表达对世界的认识的一种思维方式。通过对意象思维特点的评析,合理定位其理论价值。

Image thinking is one of the most distinctive ways of thinking in Chinese Medicine,has a profound origin of traditional culture,which is early recorded in ＂The saints establish divinatory symbols to express minds＂ in The Book of Changes.From the perspective of traditional culture,this paper explained the concepts of idea,image in image thinking first,and analyzed the relationships of words,idea and image.On the basis of this,to definite the connotation of image thinking,that is＂image thinking refers to a thinking way of thinking subject,who takes objects and images（symbols,concepts model,etc.）as the thinking tools,and expresses his/her thinking about the world through methods of intuition,metaphor,symbolism,association,analogy,insight,etc.Through the analysis of the characteristics of imagery thinking,we should rationally locate its theoretical value.
