农民工性别歧视与经济发展的关系探讨

Studes on the Relationship between Gender Discrimination of Migrant Workers and Economic Development

考虑到农民工群体规模的不断扩大,群体内部的工资差异成为亟需考虑的问题。为分析性别歧视造成的农民工工资差异是否会随着经济发展水平的提高而减弱,从理论和实证两方面分析得出结论:我国农民工工资存在性别歧视的库兹涅茨曲线,即随着经济发展水平的提高,因性别歧视等不可解释原因产生的农民工性别工资差异呈现先增后减的趋势,在分析中还发现全国各省份基本呈现男性工资高于女性的特征,且不可解释部分起到了加大性别工资差异的作用。

The wage differentials within the group become a problem that needs urgent consideration because of the continuous expansion of the group size of migrant workers.The relationship between the wage differentials of migrant workers caused by gender discrimination and the level of economic development is analyzed,and the conclusions are drawn from the theoretical and empirical aspects.The Kuznets curve exists in the wage of migrant workers caused by gender discrimination,i.e.with the improvement of economic development,the gender wage differentials of migrant workers due to gender discrimination and other reasons that cannot be explained increase first,then decrease.The analysis shows that the average wage of male migrant workers is higher than that of female workers in every province,and the reasons that cannont be explained increase gender wage differentials.
