摘要
乙烯-辛烯共聚物/茂金属聚乙烯体系(POE/mPE)的阻燃效果随氢氧化镁(MH)填充量的增加而增强,但其力学性能随之严重下降.针对该问题,采用埃洛石纳米管(HNTs)作为MH填充POE/mPE复合体系的协效阻燃剂,结果表明:添加质量分数为1%的HNTs时,复合体系的氧指数由31.6%提高至33.6%,同时体系的力学性能不会受到影响.利用场发射扫描电镜观察到HNTs对上述体系的阻燃协效效果源于其形成的致密残碳结构.
With the load of magnesium hydroxide(MH)increasing,the flame retardant of polyethylene-octene elastomer and metallocene polyethylene composites(POE/mPE)is enhanced,however,their mechanical properties decline substantially.Therefore halloysite nanotubes(HNTs)are added as the synergistic flame retardant in the POE/mPE composite containing MH in this paper.The results show that when adding mass fraction of HNTs is 1%,the oxygen index of POE/mPE composite system increased from 31.6% to 33.6%,and the mechanical properties are not affected.The SEM test reveals that the synergistic effect of HNTs stems from the formation of dense carbon residue after combustion.
