中国财政性教育经费投入对产业结构的非线性影响

The Nonlinear Effects of Financial Investment in Education on Industrial Structure in China

教育投入可以加速社会资源在产业之间的自由流动和优化配置,是推动产业结构优化升级的重要手段。本文通过构建产业结构合理化和高级化指数,从产业结构布局优化与产业结构升级两个维度考察了中国产业结构的变迁规律与区域差异,并进一步基于面板平滑门限回归模型实证研究了中国财政性教育经费投入对产业结构合理化和高级化程度的非线性影响机制。研究结果表明,相比于政府财政支出,中国财政性教育经费投入对产业结构的优化与升级可以起到更好的促进效应,并且随着受教育水平的提高,财政性教育经费投入对产业结构合理化和高级化程度的影响均表现出显著的门限特征。

Education investment, which can accelerate the free flow and optimal allocation of social resources among industries, is an important way to upgrade the industrial structure as well. This paper investigates the change rules and regional differences of Chinese industrial structure from the perspective of layout optimization and upgrading the industrial structure, which is based on the rationalization and optimization indexes. Furthermore, by using Panel Smooth Threshold Regression（PSTR） model, this paper empirically studies the nonlinear effect of financial investment in education on the rationalization and optimization of industrial structure）. The results show that compared with the government expenditure,the financial investment in education can play a better role in promoting the rationalization and optimization of industrial structure. What＇s more, with the improvement of educational level, the impact of financial investment in education on the rationalization and optimization of industrial structure shows significant threshold characteristics.
