环境工程专业英语是拓展和提高专业知识的重要工具,是培养国际化人才的重要桥梁。根据环境工程专业英语涉及学科广泛、专业英语词汇多、句法复杂的主要学科特点,针对目前环境工程专业英语教学中存在的重视性不够、教学形式单一、考核形式不合理等问题,结合教学体会,从明确课程定位、调整教学内容和考核方式等多方面多角度提出了提高环境工程专业英语教学质量的改革途径。

English for Environmental Engineering is an important tool for the development and improvement of professional knowledge.It is an important bridge to cultivate international talents.The professional English for Environmental Engineering is involved in a wide range of disciplines which has abundant vocabulary and complex syntax.Based on the current problems of the teaching of English for Environmental Engineering,such as low attention on course teaching,single teaching mode and unreasonable test pattern,the reformation strategies including making clear curriculum orientation,adjusting the teaching content and assessment methods were suggested in order to improve the teaching of English for Environmental Engineering.
