摘要
就《史记》所记音乐情况来看,乐器占了很大一部分,涉及的乐器大凡30余种。同时,《史记》记载了大量乐器演奏情况,其中包括各阶层人物多种形式的音乐演奏与娱乐欣赏活动,演奏者包括帝王、王侯将相、文人志士、音乐专业人士、民间艺人、平民百姓等。那些乐器演奏史料,不仅涵盖了司马迁对音乐人事的评判,彰显了古代乐器乃至音乐的社会文化功能,同时也能从中窥见古代音乐文化发展的社会合力。
Much ink is shed on musical instruments of 30 categories in the music section of Historical Records. The masterpiece also records a variety of music performances and music appreciation of all walks of life,with the performers ranging from emperors,aristocrats,ministers,scholars,music professionals,folk artists,and average people. These recordings embody Sima Qian's insights on music and the sociocultural role played by ancient musical instruments and music,which also reveals the multiple social impetuses promoting a sound development of ancient music culture.
