英语作为外语的心智表征特性及其教学启示

On the Characteristic of Mental Representation of English and Teaching Implications

基于两代认知语言科学的语言表征观展开实证研究,以汉语为母语的英语专业本科生为研究对象,分析其英语知识的心智表征情况。研究数据表明,对汉语为母语的学习者来说,英语知识的表征既涉及构式信息,也涉及语法运算;表征特性和所涉英语知识的复杂度相关;随着学习者英语水平的提高,以构式为单位的表征方式显著性增强。同时也基于研究结果产生相关教学启示。

Based on the linguistic representation of cognitive language in the two generations,this paper does empirical research on Chinese native English Majors and analyzes their mental representation of English knowledge.The research data shows that for the Chinese learners,the representation of English knowledge involves constructional information and grammar operation;representation features relate to the complexity of English knowledge;with the improvement of learners' English level,the ways of constructional representation features increase significantly.At the same time,the paper discusses some pedagogical implications based on the results of the study.
