Baotou Iron and Steel Factory has multilaterally influenced Baotou City during the 63 years since its establishment： it improved the establishment of Kundoulun and Baiyenebo District; it was the birthplace of the first generation of steel workers; it drove the development of the economy,science,technology and culture of Baotou.
