Pitfalls in the diagnosis of cerebral venous sinus thrombosis

脑静脉窦血栓形成(CVST)是一种相对少见的脑血管疾病,影像检查是确诊CVST的主要途径。CVST诊断中的错误多由对影像发现的误读所致。文章讨论总结了在CVST诊断中的常见影像陷阱,重点是容易被误诊为CVST的影像改变,也包括了部分提示CVST而被判断为非CVST病变的影像改变。

Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis （CVST） is a kind of relatively rare cerebrovascular disease. Diagnosis of CVST mainly relies on imaging examination. Most common mistakes in the diagnosis of CVST results from misinterpreting of imaging findings. The common pitfalls in the diagnosis of CVST, mainly those CVST mimics on imaging, were summarized. A part of imaging markers of CVST inclined to be misdiagnosed as non-CVST lesions were also included.
