In September, gold was traded 4009848.96 kilograms in the SGE, up 4.97% year-on- year; the trading value of gold stood at 1124.130 billion yuan, up 3.47% year-on-year; and its average daily turnover was 190945.19 kilograms. Platinum traded in September totalled 4554 kilograms, up 12.78% year-on-year; the trading value of platinum was 0.10 billion yuan, up 3.59% year-on-year;
