国家治理现代化视域下人大代表作用的发挥

On the Role of the Representative of the National People's Congress in the View of Modernization of State Administration

推进国家治理体系和治理能力现代化,必须坚持和完善人民代表大会制度。在坚持和完善人民代表大会制度的过程中,尤其需要发挥好人大代表的作用,以推进国家治理的民主化、法治化、科学化。为此,需要从四个方面着手改进:切实推行代表竞选机制,完善代表与选民的联系,适度推进代表专职化,强化代表的职权。

In order to promote the modernization of the state governance system and governance capacity, wemust adhere to perfect the people congress system. In this process,we need to play a good role of NPC deputies inorder to promote democratization, legalization and scientification of national governance. Therefore, we need to im-prove the work from four aspects. We should implement the election mechanism of Representatives, improve the rela-tionship between representatives and voters, moderately promote the professionalization of deputies, and strengthenthe functions and powers of deputies.
