The connection between cities is reflected through the flow of elements from traditional perspective. Public information on the internet is oriented by people's appeal and followed the principle of market supply and demand. The data is objectivity, accessible and real-time, that can well reflects and predicts the interaction between cities. Based on the data collected from "58 city network", this paper analyzes the public information of Wuhan city and its surrounding area, which is covered by 2 hours high speed railway network. The results show that: (1) the space of information flow is characterized by a typical hierarchical system in this region: according to the total amount of information flow, it can be divided into positive, negative and marginal cities. (2) from the perspective of information flow, the shape of the circle regional spatial structure is broken. When the geographical proximity effect are weakened, the regional links between main cities are enhanced. At the same time, this area presents a form of multi-center spatial network. (3) information linkage and the city's comprehensive strength are positive correlation, is highly correlated with the soft power on behalf of knowledge and technology. Wuhan will be further highlighted as an information network control node role. The cities will be more marginalized which are excluded from the information network.
