家具与木制品用桧木的物理力学性能研究

Study on Physical and Mechanical Properties of Cypress Used for Furniture and Wood Products

桧木是柏科属的常绿大乔木,也是一种古老的木材,主要生长于北美、日本和中国台湾地区。它虽是软木,却是一种高档的珍贵木材。虽然桧木拥有许多优点,但在中国内地,大多数人对这种材料还比较陌生。究其原因,一是桧木生长缓慢,产地有限,材料难得;二是一直以来,国人皆推崇硬木,桧木作为软木,自然也就不被重视。不过近年来,中国内地已经有多家企业进口日本桧木,进行相关产品的加工制作。为了能更好地了解桧木这一材料的性能以及高效利用其设计开发家具与木制品,本文对桧木的主要物理力学性能进行了试验研究。

Cypress is a large evergreen tree of the cupressaceae genus and an ancient wood and mainly grows in North America,Japan and Chinese Taipei.Although it is a soft wood,but it is a high-grade precious wood.Despite its many advantages,Cypress is relatively new to most people in Chinese mainland.Investigate its reason,first,Cypress is a slow-growing tree and only grows in limited places,its material is rare;second,Chinese people have been respecting hardwood as always,cypress is naturally ignored as a soft wood.However,in recent years,some enterprises in Chinese mainland has applied Japanese cypress wood to develop related products.In order to better understand the performance of cypress wood and use it more efficiently to design and develop furniture and wood products,the main physical and mechanical properties of Cypress were studied in the paper.
