Wood structural features and differences of Machaerium scheroxylon and Dalbergia latifolia were summarized in this paper.Five identification points are summed up in aspects of the wood color and pattern,pore size and number,axial parenchyma type,and the width of the wood ray.Among them,the main basis for the identification of the Machaerium scheroxylon and Dalbergia latifolia are the difference of axial parenchyma types and the width of the wood ray.
