镀镍短碳纤维增强铝基复合材料的组织及性能 被引量:8

Microstructure and Properties of Short Nickel Coated Carbon Fibers Reinforced Aluminum Matrix Composites

摘要 采用机械搅拌法制备镀镍短碳纤维增强铝基复合材料,并利用扫描电镜、XRD及万能拉伸试验机对制备的复合材料进行分析。结果表明,通过搅拌使碳纤维在基体中有效分散;镍镀层发生溶解并与铝基体之间形成Al_3Ni相,可有效地阻止碳纤维与基体之间形成脆性相Al_4C_3;随着碳纤维含量的增加,复合材料的抗拉强度也增大,在碳纤维含量为5%和7%时,抗拉强度较纯铝分别提高了29%和35%,但塑性都明显下降。 Carbon fibers with nickel coating reinforced aluminum matrix composites were prepared by stirring method,and it was analyzed by scanning electron microscope,XRD and universal tensile testing machine.The results reveal that carbon fibers are dispersed well in the matrix of aluminum by stirring.The Ni coating is dissoluted in the matrix to form Al3Ni phase as a result of the reaction between the aluminum matrix and the nickel coating.The Al3Ni can prevent effectively the brittle phase Al4C3 formed between the carbon fibers and the matrix.The tensile strength of the composites is increased with the increase of carbon fiber content.Compared with those of the pure aluminum,when the content of carbon fibers is 5% and 7%,the tensile strength of the composites prepared is increased by 29% and 35%,respectively,while the plasticity is decreased obviously.
