A Study on the Production of Thematic Map for the Second National Geographic Names Survey

第二次全国地名普查成果图作为普查的一类成果,能更好地展示普查成果,体现普查的价值。本文介绍了一种借助ArcGIS平台进行普查成果图制作的工艺流程。在普查成果数据的基础上,使用ArcGIS软件对数据进行相应的处理,并对普查成果图进行整饰,最后利用自开发的小工具自动出图。实践证明,使用该技术制作普查成果图,可以提高工作效率,保证出图的正确性和美观性,为普查成果图的制作提供了一套具有参考价值的技术体系。

Thematic map as a result of the second national geographic names survey,can display the results of the survey better,and reflect the value of the survey.This paper introduces a process of making thematic map using the ArcGIS platform.Frist Using ArcGIS software to process the map data,then using self-developed tools to produce map automatically.Practice has proved that the use of this technical process,can improve efficiency,and ensure the correctness and aesthetics.
