Urban and rural compulsory education balanced development is the important education policy in our country, its key emphasis is to push forward the urban and rural teachers equilibrium configuration. This arti- cle reveals the difference between urban and rural compulsory education teachers in western part of our country in number configuration, structure configuration, and quality configuration. The author analyzes the influencing factors lead to the gap of reality, then based on this, give advance on the overall advancing west urban and ru- ral teachera equilibrium configuration, and a series of countermeasures to ideas and suggestions in order to pro- mote the compulsory education balanced development between urban and rural areas has important reference value.
