This paper introduces the market operation modeof electricity sales company in Texas, analysing the companies' mar-keting transaction model, risk aversion methods and marketing strat-egy in detail. Based on the successful experience of Texas' electrici-ty sales company and the background of new electricity reform inour country, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the opera-tion of China's electricity sales company from three aspects of pric-ing, risk aversion and marketing.
