The Return of Modern Universities――Based on Flexner's philosophy of the Modern Universities

现代大学教育既是时代演变的产物也是推动社会经济、政治、文化多元化发展的一大助力,对于提高国家综合实力的水平有着举足轻重的影响力,无疑是功在当下,利在后世的长久事业。大学教育是现代高等教育的重要组成部分,具有受众面广,专业性强,影响深远等特点。但不可否认,在发展的路途之中它仍有所迷失。从大学之"道"出发,基于弗莱克斯纳所提出的关于大学教育的相关观点,并结合现代大学教育理念的是与非,推动现代大学回归本真之道。侧重于大学自身教育立场的坚定与教育需求的发声,以及分析大学同外部环境的适度距离,创设出有利于现代大学进一步突破现实困境的方法。

Modem university education is not only a product of the evolution of the times, but also a great help to promote the development of social economy, politics and culture. It has a great influence on improving the level of national comprehensive strength. It is undoubtedly the long-term benefit for future generations. University education is an important part of modem higher education,with a wide audience,strong professionality and far-reaching influence.But it is undeniable that in the way of development it is still lost. Starting from the f＇Road＂ of Universities, based on the relevant views put forward by Flexner on university education, combined with the education philosophy of modem universities, this paper tries to promote the return of modem universities. Fo-cusing on the university＇s own educational stance and the needs of education, as well as the analysis of the appropriate distance be-tween the University and the external environment, this paper tries to create the method for modem universities to further break through the real dilemma.
