作为一个经常接受大量移民的国家,多样化的人口构成一直都是美国人口结构的显著特点。我们都知道美国的官方语言是英语,但实际上在美国也生活着大量以西班牙语为母语的西语美洲人,这些人因为种种原因移民美国或到美国生活或工作,并在人口数量上对当地有着一定的影响力。本文以这些人群为研究对象,主要分析这些人在美国的生活状况及这种生活状况下西班牙语及英语的关系,以及这种生活状况对西语美洲人的心理影响。

As a state often receiving large numbers of immigrants, America has diverse population, which has been a notable feature of the structure of the population of the United States. We all know that English is the official language of the United States,but actually there are large numbers of Spanish-speaking Hispanic Americans. Due to various reasons these people emigrated to the United States to live or work, which has some influence on the population structure of local area. This essay analyzes Spanish-Americans＇ living conditions and the relationship between Spanish and English, as well as the psychological effects of living conditions on them.
