Wei Jie: Cautious Optimism About China's Economic Future

魏杰有了一个新的头衔—一清华大学文化经济研究院院长。在这之前,他还有很多其他头衔：清华大学中国经济研究中心主任、清华经管学院教授、企业战略与政策系主任。他还曾被誉为＂中国经济学四小龙＂之一。作为著名经济学家,魏杰主张微观放开,注重产权制度建立,宏观调控走向科学化,强调市场制度及财产制度的完善与发展,适当缩小政府对经济的过多干预。

As a renowned economics scholar, Wei Jie advocates microeconomic flexibility and a more scientific macroeconomic regulation. He also stresses the importance of establishing a system of management for property rights,the refining and development of market and asset management systems and believes in the suitable reduction of government intervention in the economy. According to Wei Jie, the release of the Chinese State Council's Guidelines for Enhancing Outstanding Entrepreneurial Spirit is a comprehensive affirmation of the social, economic and political standing of entrepreneurs,while simultaneously implying the idea that entrepreneurs must elevate themselves.
