《世庙识余录》价值探析

徐学谟的《世庙识余录》依据作者的亲见亲闻对明嘉靖朝诸多史事进行了点评或驳正,虽囿于作者所处时代和学识的局限,不可避免地存在着摘引史料不规范、著录好奇诡怪之事等弊病,但该书作为晚明考据之风兴起之后一部较早的史料笔记类著作,对后人研究当时的历史具有非常重要的参考价值。

The Records of Shimiao authored by Xu Xuemo provides comments and corrective annotations on many historical events in Ming Jiajing Dynasty. Limited by the times and the author＇s knowledge,there exist in this book such problems as inaccurate quotes of historical literature and fabrications of bizarre and curious incidents,but being one of the earliest work of historical notes after the fashion of textual research flourished in late Ming period,this book is a very valuable reference for the studies of later history scholars.
