An Analysis of Huang Xing's Letter to the Martyr Huang Zhongjie's Widow

江西省革命烈士纪念堂收藏有辛亥元勋黄兴于1912年初亲手所写《黄兴为载生烈士捐赠迁葬之资》书信一封。该信件所言载生烈士即中国近代民主革命家、中国同盟会会员、萍乡籍先烈黄钟杰。民国初定,黄兴即亲自致函国民党萍乡支部负责人责成妥善处理迁移黄钟杰烈士墓冢、抚恤烈士遗属事宜,并亲赴萍乡主持召开追悼会,充分反映出黄兴与黄钟杰烈士深厚的革命情谊,也是对黄钟杰烈士功绩的充分肯定。

A letter Donation From Huang Xing to Martyr Zaisheng For His Grave Relocation written in early 1912 by Huang Xing, a great leader of 1911 Revolutionary movement, is a now collected in Jiangxi Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall. The name Zaisheng, referred in the letter, was Huang Zhongjie, a martyr born in Pingxiang, a member of the Chinese Association, and a modern Chinese democratic revolutionist. When the Republic of China was founded, Huang Xing wrote a letter in person to KMT Pingxiang branch, urging the person in charge to properly handle relocation of martyrs Huang Zhongjie＇s grave, and to take care of his family. Huang Xing even went to Pingxiang presiding over the memorial service. All what he did for Huang Zhongjie reflected the deep revolutionary friendship between them, and the complete approval of Huang Zhongjie＇s contributions.
