Asia-Pacific Strategy of U.S Trump Administration and China's Countermeasures

亚洲长期以来就是美国对外战略的重心。其经营亚洲的历史可以追溯至两个多世纪之前,尽管美国历届政府的亚太战略不尽相同,但基本保持了战略的延续性。尽管特朗普亚太战略带有极大的不确定性,但也具有新的特征,表现得更加灵活、务实,且不再以政治正确和维护区域秩序和安全平衡为首要目的,而是以美国国内利益为目的。对此中国的应对策略是立足国内,打好自身基础;引领中式全球化;加强文化沟通;对美国国内不同阶层采取灵活的公共外交。

Asia has been a focus of external strategy for the United States, whose history of operating Asia can be traced back to two centuries at least. Though the Asia-Pacific strategy adopted by U.S administration is different, it basically maaintains its strategy continuity. U.S president Trump＇s Asia and Pacific strategy hears huge uncertainty but also has its new feature, more flexible and pragmatic, no longer with political correctness, keeping regional order and safety balance as its prime aim but U.S domestic interest as its aim. For that, China^s corresponding strategy is based on home, laying its own foundation, guiding Chinese globalization, intensifying cultural communication and adopting flexible puble diplomacy for different strata at home.
