“What to Change” and “What Not to Change” in the Search for a New Model of Higher Education

A fundamental question to be answered in China＇s higher education is what kind of talents we want to cultivate, how and for whom. The answer to this question will help us determine ＂what to change＂ and ＂what not to change＂ during the most comprehensive and most fundamental social changes in contemporary China, and explore future directions for the development of a new model of higher education under the leadership of the Party. As the first foreign language university founded by the Communist Party of China, Beijing Foreign Studies University has always shared the same fate with the Party and the nation , and actively docking and serving national major strategy.
