Gunnar Alfred Yalin as the only orientalist who crossed the dividing line between the old and new Chinese history beyond many modern explorers,for his connection with Kashgar,he came here. Yalin＇s experience help he build a vivid and creative image of Kashgar in his book Return to Kashgar,among a lot of stereotyped western texts in a specific historical period. The image of Kashgar in Yalin＇s book has an important historical value to this special economic development zone,especially for the construction of One Belt And One Road.
