摘要
翻译过程中,类似于把How are you?How old are you?译为"怎么是你"、"怎么老是你?"这样的同层间的照搬式的误译不仅仅是笑谈,而是常见现象。为解决该问题,文章基于系统功能语言学提出翻译教学的层次模式及其构建路径,并指出英语教学中应该遵循层次间的"自上而下"和"自下而上"双重模式,以培养翻译学习者层次思维,提高翻译教学效率。
In translation, it is commonplace to see the misinterpretations resulted from the transmission between the same stratum of the source text and target one. To solve this problem, the paper proposes a stratification model in translation teaching, based on the theory of Stratification in Systemic Functional Linguistics(SFL). The new translation model requires that translation process should start with the context situation of the source text, and based on the meaning activated by the context, the choices of the lexicogrammatical stratum should be made.
