College English Teaching:Problems and Strategies

目前,大学英语阅读教学中存在一些普遍性问题,如阅读量少、词汇处理不当、语法操练没有上升到语用层面等问题,在教学范式面临着"信息化教学从‘learn from IT’向‘learn with IT’转型"的今天,教师应采用多种教学模式优势互补的混合式教学来进行阅读教学,如鼓励和要求学生利用移动学习增加课外阅读量,引导学生利用语料库进行词块学习,教师努力在课堂教学中提高目标词块的复现率等对策。

There are some problems in the College English Reading Teaching,such as the limited reading time,unproductive approaches towards vocabulary learning and teaching,and ineffective grammar practice.With IT teaching transforming from 'learn from IT'to'learn with IT',teachers should adopt various teaching strategies to make use of their advantages to teach reading.In other words,teachers can teach reading by encouraging students read with mobile equipment,studying vocabulary with corpus and improving the circulation of the vocabulary in teaching steps.
