《汉语大词典》书证标点商榷

Probing into the Punctuation Errors in the Cited Examples in the Chinese Dictionary

《汉语大词典》中引用了大量的书证,部分书证的标点值得商榷。分析致误原因,有不明词语意义造成的失误,也有不明语法或截取文字不当造成的失误,还有一些书证的标点存在前后抵牾,改正这些标点,有助于增强词典的典范性。

In the Chinese Dictionary, a large number of examples are quoted from ancient works, and some of the punctuations in the citation are erroneous, which deserves further discussions. An analysis of the errors tells that some errors result from the fact that the meanings of the words remain unclear, and some others were grammatical blunders, or improper phrasing of the text, or the punctuations within one quotation are contradic- ted. To remove these errors in punctuation will help enhance its status as a canonical model.
