This article introduces the statistics on fluorocarbon coatings industry comprsing solvent-based FEVE resins and coatings, solvent-based PVDF resins and coatings, waterborne fluorocarbon coatings and powder fluorocarbon coatings, etc., meanwhile, describes the main applications （e.g., architecture, anticorrosion and new energy, etc.） and their development status. It is revealed that the fluorocarbon coatings industry should have a close combination with the downstream industries to further promote the applications of environmental friendly and functional fluorocarbon coatings while consolidating the existing main applications, which is conducive for the progress in the fluorocarbon coatings industry.
