在习近平总书记关于文艺的系列讲话中,习近平总书记将文艺与时代的关系问题摆在了突出地位,并反复强调文艺"与时代同频共振"这一"时代性"特征对于文艺作品的重要意义。习近平总书记对文艺时代性特征的强调有着鲜明的现实意识,其问题指向及理论维度有三:一是要担负时代之"责",反映时代风貌和精神气象;二是要发挥号角之"力",为时代前进聚力与抒怀;三是要铸造精神之"鼎",为文艺振兴与民族复兴提供助推力。文艺与时代关系的论述是新形势下对文艺和文艺工作所处境遇的理论回答。

In his series of important speeches on literature and art,President Xi Jinping focused on how the times are related to literature and art,and repeatedly emphasized that literature and art should'resonate with the times,'and characteristics of'the times'are of great significance to works of literature and art.President Xi’s emphasis on the characteristics of the times is practical and can be understood from three theoretical dimensions.First,authors and artists should shoulder the'responsibility'of reflecting the style and spirit of the times.Second,literature and art should be allowed to play its role in the cohesion and expression of the times.Third,the workers of literature and art should cast the'tripod'of spirit for the revitalization of literature and art as well as national rejuvenation.The relationship between literature and art and the times is an important part of President Xi’s literary thought.It is not only a theoretical answer to the current position of literature and art and artists under new circumstances but also a development of the discourse system of Marxist theory of literature and art with Chinese characteristics.
