基于焦点信息量化讨论的存现句类型分析

Type Discussion of There BE Sentences Based on Focal Quantification Expression

作为自然语言逻辑重要组成部分的广义量词理论在国内还未引起广泛关注。将该理论与语言研究结合起来,根据强弱性质的不同,量词可分为比例量词限定词和基数量词限定词。通过焦点信息的量化分析将英语存现句分成四类:表示基本存在、表示描述、表示任务、表示清单。其中,在表示基本存在和表示描述的存现句中只能出现基数量词限定词,在表示清单存现句中只能出现比例量词限定词,而在表示任务存现句中量词类型则不受限制。

Generalized quantifier theory,as an important part of natural language logic,has not yet attracted a lot of attention in domestic. With the combination of it and language studies,There BE sentences can be analyzed according to the different characteristics of strong/weak quantifiers,and further classified into four types,namely,basic existential There BE,presentational There BE,task There BE,and list There BE. The focal information in basic existential There BE and presentational There BE can be preceded by the cardinal quantifiers,and that in list There BE can be modified by the proportional quantifiers,while that in task There BE is unlimited.
