Style Analysis of Meng Qi's Ben Shi Shi

历代对于孟启《本事诗》的文体界定存在一定争议,有"诗评"与"小说"之争。《本事诗》具备了小说创作特点中的长于叙事、有意虚构、富有趣味性等特征,且其中一些故事情节,为后世广为流传,并成为一种"母题"影响了后代小说创作。故此据《本事诗》显著的文体特征可以将其认定为志人小说。

There have been disagreements on the style of Meng Qi＇ Ben Shi Shi, poetic comment or novel. Ben Shi Shi has the characteristics of novel creation, such as narration, intentional fiction, and interest and some of the story plots widely spread among the following generations, influencing the later novel creation. Therefore we can concluded that the style of Ben Shi Shi is novels of historical characters.
